Action Research Plan (Classroom Management)

Goal: To help students stay in their classrooms and out of the office by focusing and engaging  more on good teaching practices and differential instruction.

3.  Teachers practice the new strategies in their classrooms.	Teachers	4 weeks	Ginger Tucker’s “Saving Our Greatest Resource” Fred Jones “Tools For Teaching”	This will give them insight on what’s working and what’s not working in their classrooms.
4. Observe teacher and student interaction in all four classes	Me, Teachers, and Students	4 weeks	Evaluation forms using PDAS and TL21	Using PDAS and TL21 write up  an evaluation on each class.
5. Meet with teachers for the second time. 6. Reevaluate the research plan with the teachers. Look at the percentage of referral reduction. Also look at the content of the referrals and what strategies could have been used.
